Remtron Automation, a leading Australian provider of Automation, Process Control and IT related products engaged Bingo Bango with the brand development of their new business entity, Radius Technology, which specialises in energy efficient lighting products and solar panels for commercial applications.
Efficiency Through Intelligence
The initial brief for this project was to create a logo to encompass the new company's offering as a distributor of solar technology and energy efficient lighting... in the client's words "we really want to you work on the name 'Radius', I guess we are looking for something modern and sleek. We would also like the Radius name to be red".
Whilst, the end result didn't have the name is red, the entire Corporate Identity for Radius Technology focused on using red as the main colour scheme that would allow the logo to be utilised in different communication channels and be adaptable to suit any medium from printed brochures and stationery to signage and embroidery.
The logo itself is a combination of the red ellipses that symbolise LED lights, with the name Radius extending half-way into the circular icon to reflect the true meaning of a radius - a half diameter.
After the logo and guidelines were developed the identity was then further extended to cover the requirements for their initial communication pieces. This entailed designs for all of their Stationery items (Letterhead, Business Cards & Envelopes), Presentation Folders, Distributor Fliers, Signage and Pull-up Banners.
And, to top it all off, we built a product based website with a back-end CMS system from Blackmaze Creative to allow the team at Radius to be able to perform ongoing maintenance to the site. This also included SEO development and google apps integration for entire the team to be able to collaborate more effectively with staff members that operate off-site or interstate.
